About The Lost & Found Post

Why We Exist:

Some letters are never written, not because the words do not matter, but because no one ever gave us permission to speak them.
The Lost & Found Post was created for the quiet ones, the grieving ones, the healing ones, the hopeful ones, and the ones who cannot yet name what hurts.

Not everything needs to be shouted.
Some things simply need to be heard.

Where It Comes From:

The Lost & Found Post began with one woman writing the letters she needed most.
Letters to younger versions of herself.
Letters to people she would never get closure from.
Letters to no one in particular and somehow to everyone at once.

If words could help stitch her back together, maybe they could help someone else find their way too.

Who It’s For:

This space is for the ones who feel too much.
The ones who were never clapped for.
The ones carrying joy and grief in the same breath.
The ones trying their best with what little they were handed.
The ones who only know that something inside them is reaching for more.

If that is you, you are not lost here.
You are home.

What You Can Expect:

You will find letters that are honest, tender, and unrushed.
Letters written for the parts of you that still ache, still hide, still hope.

You will find reminders that you are allowed to be complicated, undone, rebuilding, beginning again.

And most of all, you will find words written for you, even if we have never met.

A Personal Note From The Founder:

I don’t know your name. But I know the ache of needing something real.

Because maybe we’ve both been the one who didn’t get the apology.
Or the congratulations.
Or the “I see how hard you’re trying.”

I started writing letters because I didn’t know what else to do with the things I was carrying.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t the only one carrying them.

So I started mailing them out into the world—sealed, handwritten, and raw—hoping they’d land exactly where they were needed most.

If you’re here, I already know something about you:
You care.
Enough to look.
Enough to search.
Enough to try.

And that’s not nothing.

With everything I have,
Founder, The Lost & Found Post

A dark, enchanted-looking post office building with warm glowing windows and a sign that reads 'The Lost & Found Post'. Next to it is a tall wooden mailbox labeled 'Post' filled with mail and papers. Several birds are flying around, carrying letters in their beaks, in a forest setting.
A still life scene with a candle on a candlestick holder providing warm light, an ink bottle, a quill pen, an envelope with a wax seal, and sealed letters with red wax seals on a wooden table.
